The rules, guidelines and schedule will be reviewed at the Captain’s Meeting September 24th 2022 at 9:00am. The Captain’s Meeting is MANDATORY for at least one representative from your team. Teams will consist of up to 4 anglers and may provide their own Captain or have one assigned by the tournament director.

Captain’s meeting will be held at the docks at the Vinoy Marina which is across from The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg. All boats/teams/individual entries must be paid and registered prior to the starting the event.

The schedule for fishing on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 will be based on the honor system using lines-in and lines-out times. The official lines-in start time is 9:30 am EST and fishing will conclude with all lines-out by 3:30pm EST. Teams must depart from and return to the Vinoy Marina. They are permitted to depart after the Captain’s meeting and should plan to be back on the docks by 4:00pm EST.

This is a catch-photo-release ONLY tournament. Anglers will take a digital photo of any fish they wish to be scored at the time they land the fish for proof of and catch and timestamp. FOR ANY FISH TO BE SCORED, A DIGITAL PHOTO MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR UPON REQUEST. All digital photos must have the tournament piece clearly in the photo. Pictures should be taken with the nose of the fish, facing left, flush against the ruler 0” line and the far-right edge with a pinched tail. Pictures need to include the ENTIRE fish and CLEARLY show the overall length as well as the provided tournament piece 0” line visible. Any photos of fish that are unclear or do not clearly show the fish on the measuring ruler with the tournament piece in the photo will be subject to disqualification as determined by the tournament director. In the event of a TIE in length, the winner will be awarded to the team that submits their photo with the earlier time stamp. Score cards will be given out for each team at the Captains meeting and will be returned at the dock at the completion of fishing.
