Plantation on Crystal River's Annual Redfish Classic Tournaments mission is to produce the area’s best family-friendly Redfish Tournament, encourage Conservation and get more anglers out on the water. Tournament Host Plantation on Crystal River and it's Sponsors are proud of this professional and upscale Family friendly event. Redfish is the primary quest, but there will also be categories for Trout & Grouper(Red & Gag) along with a Youth & Ladies Division. Redfish/Red Drum will be weighed and the limit shall be 2 fish per team. Grouper will be based on the largest single fish of red, black, or gag grouper species. The Trout division is a catch-photo-release competition to promote conservation. Each team will be provided a special measuring device to be used when submitting their catch. Trout must be entered either via iAngler app. Trout winning teams will be based on the total length of a 5-fish aggregate using the iAngler app. http://www.ianglertournament.com/2019-plantation-redfish-classic Tournament standings, auxiliary awards, and final winners shall be determined by the total weight measured in pounds and 100th of a pound of each teams 2 redfish catch or individual grouper and aggregate length of 5 total trout during the tournament. Every effort must be made to keep redfish alive. An 8-ounce penalty will be deducted from the weight per dead fish presented for weigh-in. Dead fish possessed by a team of tournament anglers may not be discarded. No mutilated or iced fish shall be accepted. Any alteration of length or weight of fish is prohibited and team will be banished from any future tournaments. All fish that are presented to the Plantation for measuring become the property of the Plantation. Full rules list can be found at http://www.plantationredfishclassic.com/tournament-rules.html In the event of a rule violation, the Tournament Director may impose such sanctions as they deem appropriate, including, without limitation, disqualifications, forfeiture of prizes, and prohibition from participation in subsequent tournaments. Decisions of the Tournament Director are final in all matters and are not subject to appeal, and are not reviewable by any court of law. The Plantation on Crystal River (POCR) reserves the right to make needed changes to these rules in order to ensure the safety and welfare of the POCR anglers and the public, and preserve the integrity of the POCR. Any rule changes will immediately supersede all previously published copies of rules. It is your responsibility to read and understand the rules and how you are affected by not complying with the following rules. Every competitor will be required to sign a liability release/permission form for use of image/agreement to the official rules prior to the tournament. ENTRY FEES AND PAYMENTS: An Entry Fee of $150 (early reg.) $200 (2 anglers) is required to fish the Tournament. There is a maximum of (4) Anglers per Team, additional anglers $85.00 each. There is an Overall Youth Division & Ladies Division, Youth 12 and under a FREE, with no Tournament $$ entry, they are considered 1-of the 4 Anglers on each Team. All entry fees are NONTRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS.Print
