The Green Wave Inshore Classic is a photo-catch-and-release fishing tournament with all proceeds benefiting the Fort Myers High School Athletics. Final registration and the Captains meeting will be held at Pinchers at Edison Ford Estates on Thursday, October 10, beginning at 5:00 PM. Cash rewards will be paid out to the top 4 teams with the longest combined length of one (1) Snook, (1) one Redfish, (1) one Trout, and (1) one Mystery Fish. Teams will also have the option to register for an additional $2,000 in bonus money. $500 will be given for each of the following categories. Big Trout, Big Red, Big Snook, and Big Mystery Fish.

Rules

RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. FINAL INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE GIVEN AT THE CAPTAIN’S MEETING, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 2021, 6:30 PM at Place: Hooters, Fort Myers, FL.
GREEN WAVE INSHORE CLASSIC RULES:

All Florida fishing & boating laws apply.
No wading. Must fish from the boat.
Total length, pinched tail, of one (1) Snook, (1) one Redfish, (1) one Trout, and (1) one Mystery Fish.
All fish must be caught on hook, line, rod and reel.
Lines in at 7:00 a.m.
No angler substitutions.
No boat-to-boat transfers of any kind.
All team members must fish from the same boat.
Live or artificial bait allowed.
No chumming or holding of holes at any time for other teams.
No outside assistance whatsoever during tournament hours.
No marina fishing, pet fishing or fishing boat ramps.
Anglers must be present at Captains’ Meeting.
Winnings will be distributed after review of photographs and announced at Awards Ceremony.
In the event of a tie, the first team registered will be declared the winner.
All prizes must be claimed by at least (1) member of the winning team in person at the Awards Ceremony. Prizes not claimed in accordance with these rules remain property of the tournament.
