2024 International Coastal Cleanup Tournament
September 21 - 29, 2024
Coastal Conservation Association of Florida and iAngler Tournament Systems are proud to present the Coastal Cleanup Challenge kicking off a week-long, statewide trash tournament kicking off on International Coastal Cleanup Day Sat, Sept 21, 2024 at 7am and closes on Sept 29, 2024 at 7pm.
Join Floridians across our beloved state to get your boots in the muck and your hands in the sand with marine conservation. We would like to invite Florida water enthusiasts such as boaters, anglers, paddlers, shoreline-walkers, and more to visit their local body water and help prevent trash and debris from harming our waterways and coastal ecosystems. All ages and level of experience are welcome to participate.
Volunteers can register as a team/individual to participate CCA Florida’s week-long Trash Tournament to trash and marine debris from Florida’s rivers, estuaries, bays, and beaches. Each trash bag, large debris item, or bucket will be considered one raffle entry to be entered for amazing giveaway prizes. Participants will be asked to fill out the data sheet provided and record data on the types of trash and debris, item counts, weight in pounds, and any other interesting details that you wish to include!
PRIZES
The more trash you collect, the greater your chances of winning one of the following prizes:
- Two (2) American Express worth $100 each
- Eight (8) Academy Sporting Goods gift cards worth $25 each
- Two (2) Gift cards for Bajio Prescription Sunglasses
Volunteers in need of service hours are encouraged to email their community service paperwork to sblevins@ccaflorida.org for approval. Each trash bag, large debris item, or bucket will be considered 30 minutes of community service.
