This fishing tournament helped us raise over $350,000 over the past three years to support Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County's Veterans Initiative. With these funds, Habitat Hillsborough and our volunteers were able to build three new homes for U.S. veterans in need; repair homes and add needed features like wheel chair access ramps for 25 additional U.S. veterans; and repair buildings, paint and landscape property for three Veteran Support Organizations.
Last year's 2022 Veterans Inshore Fishing Slam hosted over 200+ participants, 39 teams, 25 Boats Sponsored by valued companies such as Grow Financial/Friends of the U.S. Military Families, Boeing, Home Depot, Johnson & Johnson, and many others, helping to raise over $120,000 for our Veterans Initiative.
