Mylar Summer Pickup
June 8 - November 1, 2020
Collect and snap pictures of mylar balloons off the water while you're fishing and win prizes!
Join CCA CAL this summer in an effort to help clean up our ocean and take care of our resources! While fishing offshore or inshore, we are seeing more and more mylar balloons floating in our local waters, and are often collecting them. Now you can get rewarded for each balloon that you collect each day. Simply download the iAngler Tournament App, search for the “2020 Mylar Summer Pickup”, register your account and start collecting! Our tournament will start on June 8th, World Oceans Day, and will run all the way until November 1st. You are allowed to submit 1 entry per day, but make sure to include ALL of the balloons collected for the day. Please make sure to separate them out so you receive points for each balloon.
Every entry must have each balloon layed out and separated in each picture
- One (1) entry per person per day
- One (1) point will be awarded for each balloon collected off of the water
- Each entry will also come with one (1) entry for a raffle at the end of the tournament
- There is no fee for entering the tournament
- Each participant must follow all laws, regulations and rules designated by the US Coast Guard, California Department of Fish & Wildlife, or any other law enforcement agencies
- For more information, please visit ccacalifornia.org
We will award prizes to the top three (3) persons that collect the most balloons throughout the summer season. One balloon equals one point! Also, each entry you make until November 1st will also be one entry into a special raffle at the end of the tournament. If you have any questions, please contact us at www.ccacalifornia.org . Good luck!
