2020 Treasure Coast Snook Challenge

OFFICIAL RULES

THIS IS A CATCH/PHOTO/RELEASE TOURNAMENT. No snook need to be killed or mishandled to accumulate points in this contest. Each angler is required to upload their catches to the iAngler Tournament App for verification and submission of catch.

A mandatory tournament token to place in the photo will be provided at the mandatory captain’s meeting, and must be included in each photo.



All rules are subject to the sole interpretation of the Tournament Chairman.



Any disputes shall be decided by the Tournament Chairman, after consultation wit the Tournament Directors.

There are no restrictions on fishing locations within the Treasure Coast.



Fishing is allowed by land, bridge or boat.



ARTIFICIAL BAITS ONLY Any name brand artificial bait is open to use but you can get
extra bonus points for each fish that is caught using any First Light Tackle jig or bait.



EACH SNOOK WILL BE MEASURED BY ITS TOTAL LENGTH. Total Length is defined as: The distance from the most forward point of the snook’s head to the hindmost point of the pinched tail (in accordance with FWC guidelines). Scorecards should reflect the actual length of each fish to the nearest 1⁄4 inch. Be sure to pinch tail and close mouth. Fish nose should be at the 'zero' mark, so the tail marks the total length. NO HANDS may be under the fish (i.e., lifting) - these images will be disqualified. Image must have secret photo identifier, which will be supplied at the captain's meeting.



The iAngler Tournament App the scores will automatically tally as you enter each catch and will officially be logged. All fish must be logged by noon on Sunday, February 2nd.
