June Casting Tournament, Lake St. Clair Muskies Inc, Chapter 58
LSCMI Chapter 58 PRO/AM Tournament
2017 Tournament Rules and Regulations
LSCMI will be continuing with the same multi-divisional tournament style in 2017. We will continue using the Pro/AM style of tournaments, which means there will be two pro divisions added to our lineup for a total of four divisions (a professional casting division, a professional trolling division, and an amateur casting division and an amateur trolling division). Who is a pro? Any person who gets compensated or profits from the sport of fishing. (ex. Charter Boat Captains, first mates and casting guides). Who is an amateur? A person who does not receive monetary compensation for the act of fishing. [The final decision as to who is a professional and who is an amateur is up to the Tournament Board or Chapter Board of Directors.]
New for 2017, Each boat captain will be required to download and register for the mobile app “IANGLER Tournament”.
Once tournament fees are paid, each captain will be given a password for that month’s tournament. This app will provide up to the minute scoring and keep improper fish logs to a minimum. The app is also available for web viewing and has more detailed information on the website.
Our hope is that this style of tournament will accommodate those who decide to participate in our tournaments.
