Rules and Regulations

  Tournament Rules


    You may drop your line in from any location at 7:00 am eastern time beginning on Saturday, May 5th, 2018.
    The tournament ends promptly at 12:00 pm eastern time on Saturday, September 8th, 2018.
    You may fish from the shore, docks, seawalls, boats, bridges, etc.
    You may pick up your angler bucket at the awards ceremony on September 8th (will not be mailed).
    All catches must be uploaded to the iAngler app by 12:00 pm eastern time on Saturday, September 8th, 2018.
    All images must include the entire length of fish, which is to be places against a measuring device (such as Florida Sportsman Law Stick, cooler ruler, standard measuring tape, etc). Fish's head should be at the 'zero' line. 
    Only fish listed in tournament will count for points. all "other" fish data is collected for scientific purposes by SGF and their research partners, but will not be counted in your score for this tournament.

Scoring

    Winners will be determined by the following criteria:
    • Total combined inches of the longest of the eligible primary species caught
    • In case of a tie, the earliest 'last eligible fish logged will win. Eligible fish will be defined as a scored fish (e.g., if your last snook was shorter than your biggest, that short fish does not count. Only scored fish will count in the tie breaker).

    1st Place: ($3,100 total value in cash and prizes)

    2nd Place: ($1,000 total value in cash and prizes)
