Beachside Barracudas Fishing Club
2023 Spring Tournament
March 4 - May 6, 2023
This is an internal tournament for Beachside High School Fishing Club Members Only. All other angler registrations will be removed.
The Beachside High School fishing club was organized in 2022 in St. Johns County, Florida. Our purpose is simple; connect people with nature through the development of fishing techniques and skills. The goal is to produce conservation-minded young people that will pass the knowledge they acquire along to future generations.
This tournament is a four species tournament that includes Largemouth Bass, Redfish, Flounder, and Spotted Seatrout. The tournament is for Beachside High School Fishing Club members only. Each club member will be provided a code to login to the iAngler Tournament app.
Target Species:
- Largemouth Bass
- Redfish
- Flounder
- Spotted Seatrout
Tournament Boundaries - All bodies of water in the following counties:
- Nassau
- Duval
- Clay
- St. Johns
- Flagler
Tournament Schedule:
- Lines in the water on 3/4/23 @ 7:00AM
- Lines out of the water on 5/6/23 @ 5:00PM
- Awards will be handled at a future club meeting.
Scoring Guidelines:
- 1 inch of fish equals 1 point. Ex. a 22 inch bass is worth 22 points.
- Log every allowable (per the tournament rules) fish caught over the nine-week tournament and we will total your four longest fish. This is your final score.
- The tiebreaker is the number of total allowable fish logged into the iAngler Tournament app. This means, if you log a 17 inch bass, that fish would not count in your total number of fish caught because the rules state the minimum size for bass is 18 inches.
