Rules and RegulationsClick to Read

Rules:

Rod and Reel only, any public water from Cape May Point to Sandy Hook. Must abide by all laws and regulations. No lakes.

Measuring Device

You will need to provide your own measuring device. Any device can be used that can measure your fish to the nearest ¼”. The Hawg Trough and the Katch board are preferred measuring devices. If you are using a Hawk Trough board for measuring, please mark the lines on the board with a black marker so they are easily identified in the photos.

How to Measure

The fish needs to be measured from left to right. Starting from the mouth on the left and ending with the tail on the right. Dorsal fin must be at the top. Please make sure your fish pictures are clear. Make sure we can see some of the mouth and the beginning of the measuring device. Eye must be seen. Completely covering the fish face will result in a DQ of the fish.

To confirm that the fish is alive, the fish’s eye must be uncovered in the photo. Photos of fish that appear to be dead, mutilated, frozen or similarly damaged will be disqualified without scoring. Photos of fish that appear to have been mangled, mashed, mauled or otherwise altered in ways that increase their length will be disqualified or approved for scoring at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

All fish must be submitted to the nearest 1/4”. If your fish is almost 20 3/4” but is not quite touching the 3/4” mark, your fish will be rounded down to 20 1/2”

TAKE a picture of your fish with mouth closed on your measuring board with your entire “Identifier Code” clearly visible. If the identifier code is not in the photo or not visible and clear, the fish will be disqualified. If the mouth of your bass is even slightly opened, the fish will have half an inch deducted.

SUBMIT your catch on the iAngler Tournament app or online at Ianglertournament.com before the deadline.

In the event of an exact tie in aggregate score, ties will be broken according to the time that the competitors’ last fish photo was officially checked in by the Judges. Should the last fish photo submission times be identical, and then both Competitors’ highest single-fish score will be compared and the higher score will be determining the outcome. If both Competitors’ highest single-fish score, too, is identical, then the second highest single-fish score of both Competitors will be compared, and so on until the tie is broken by the highest single-fish score.

Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Longest 2 fish (Total length of longest Fluke and longest Bluefish)
  • Longest Single Fluke
  • Longest Single Bluefish
(Anglers are only eligible to win one prize.)

PAYOUTS:

To be calculated and posted after close of registration. Prizes amounts will be awarded from percentage of registration.

72 HOUR DISPUTE WINDOW AFTER TOURNAMENT ENDS. PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE 1 WEEK AFTER FINAL DISPUTE WINDOW CLOSES TO VERIFY ALL FISH OF ANGLERS THAT FINISHED IN THE MONEY.
