Central Coast Slam Down IX
September 18, 2021

Central Coast Kayak Fishing presents the 9th Annual Central Coast Slam Down. As in past years, the tournament will be held on the beautiful Central Coast, with any location along the San Luis Obispo coastline open to anglers. Target species will include Lingcod, Rockfish, Cabezon, Halibut, Flounder, Greenling, Sheepshead , White Seabass and Surfperch, all being scored on a points per inch scale. Catch and release is encouraged and recommended.

All anglers that register for the Central Coast Slam Down tournament will have a chance at winning a trip to Cedros Island in Mexico to kayak and catch trophy yellowtail and calico bass. After fishing will be the awards ceremony and there will be additional items raffled off. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased the weekend of the tournament and 100% of the proceeds will be given to the Central California HOW Chapter and Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center.

A waiver, release of liability, and covenant not to sue are part of the entry form. It is required that all contestants take responsibility for themselves while participating in event activities.
Any deviation from the rules will be cause for disqualification. If any participant suspects another of violating the rules they are required to contact the tournament director immediately upon check-in at El Chorro Park and provide proof. A “he-said, they said” will not be considered.

Rules interpretation is exclusively left to the Tournament Director and his/her designee and has final say in all matters and not subject to appeal. The tournament director reserves the right to refuse entry into the tournament by any participant.
