6th Annual ABC Saltwater Slam
April 19 - 20, 2023
Thank you for joining us for our 6th Annual ABC Saltwater Slam tournament benefiting Coastal Conservation Association of Florida.
Below you will find the itinerary and additional details if you have questions after you review this, please reach out to Kris at KristineB@abcfws.com.
Boats have assigned numbers. Please make sure you know your boat number as times of departure vary each day based on this. Each boat will have three anglers, however the team you are fishing with to try to win the Grand Slam trophy (and bragging rights) is done via a random draw thru iAngler which will be shown on the TVs in your room on channel 2 and at the rooftop bar Wednesday evening. This means your boat mates are technically your competition...be nice to them anyway. We are fishing for snook, red, and trout. Boats may NOT leave the staging area prior to 1pm Wednesday or 8:30am Thursday. Each day lines must be out of the water by the designated time (5pm Wednesday and 4:30pm Thursday).
Please make sure you have the iAngler Tournament app downloaded on your phone and you can get into your account to log the fish you catch prior to the event. Additionally, various raffles will happen throughout the day and announcements of how to win them will be pushed through the iAngler app.
Attire for evening events at the hotel is resort casual.
For guests and anglers staying at the Don Cesar. The Zamora is a three-block walk from the Don. If you choose to drive instead there is valet parking available at The Zamora as well and they assured me they should have enough parking to accommodate but feel free to carpool just in case.
